Affliction’s clothing line includes mixed martial arts clothing, t-shirts, polo shirts, thermals, hoodies, shorts, jeans, and shoes. Its style has been described as “skull and crossbone inspired”. Many of Affliction’s shirts bear the logo of many of the world’s top-ranked MMA fighters, which they called it Signature Series, that includes Randy Couture, Georges St. Pierre, Fedor Emelianenko, Quinton Jackson, Renato Sobral and many world-class boxing superstars, including Oscar De La Hoya, Shane Mosley and Zab Judah.
They also made for some of the well-known musicians like Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Pantera, Korn, Staind, StaticX, Testament, Shadows Fall, Atreyu, Behemoth, Biohazard and many more. They also made a signature tee for Fil-Am surfing legend Sunny Garcia, where the designs on the shirt were based on his tattoos. Several nightclubs and bars in Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia, donot allow Affliction’s clothing in addition to other labels such as Ed Hardy due to a perceived association with local gang activities.Pamela Rogers, a spokesperson for Affliction, maintained that the brand “has nothing to do with gangs” and describes it instead as an “upscale men’s boutique brand”. In Calgary, Cowboys nightclub has banned Affliction t-shirts due to the incidents in Vancouver and Victoria.
